Author Bernice Cosulich came to Tucson, Arizona with her newspaper husband in the early 1920s. Convenient to work along side her reporting husband, she became the society editor of the Arizona Daily Star in 1922. Tucson was expanding in population and historic landmarks and information were being lost. Bernice dug into the past and made notes from long-forgotten diaries and documents. Time passed. First published in 1953, the book "Tucson" is the completed work of Bernice Cosulich from information accumulated since 1922. It has been described as "the most complete, accurate story of Tucson ever told in one volume." Illustrated with black and white line drawings and maps.
